Road Home, DC Video and TF Trailer Call-back

Even though current, but limited knowledge, indicates that Transformers: The Dark of the Moon is no longer filming in the states, the image taken by Denise T. shows Ironhide and Ratchet as they were transported on Monday around noon through Phoenix, Arizona in Eastbound lane. More than likely the destination is wherever the TFs are stored when no longer being used for filming or promotional use but maybe more is being done in LA.

Speaking of production, below is another video from Washington, DC filming. This one is shows more of the filming at Lincoln Memorial and what else Shia and Josh were up to after they ran across the lawn and what the flashing lights might have been for. The last video is the teaser trailer for the upcoming movie Skyline. Mostly posting it because found it amusing the use of the Transformers 1 trailer music queues and font designs complete with glowing light in the background. Thanks to Mauricio and and Jakenbocker for the links.

"Before It's Too Late" Music Video

YouTube has the "Before It's Too Late" by the Goo Goo Dolls for the Transformers soundtrack music video. Thanks to Trailer for the link.

Transformers The Album Website Is Up

Turns out the Transformers Soundtrack is got its own website to. They have a website for everything nowadays. Not much to the website yet, just samples of the same 3 songs that the official site is already playing in full. Also has pics of all the bands that just link back to each band's website. According to Amazon, the CD is coming out July 3rd.

3 Songs From Transformers Soundtrack Now Streaming

The official Transformers movie website is now streaming three songs from the upcoming soundtrack for Transformers which I think is coming out this Tuesday. The songs are "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme) by the Goo Goo Dolls, "What I've Done" by Linkin Park and "Transformers Theme" by Mutemath.

To find the songs, go to the TF movie website, pick a side, wait for screen to load and will see an option "Soundtrack" in the top right of the screen. Click it and there you go. Oddly the Linkin Park song made me think of the movie Halloween with its opening chord.

There is also other updates on the sites, galleries and the like that might be worth checking out. Thanks to Maximus for the heads-up.

New Stan Bush Transformers Theme

Stan Bush has released a snippet of a new Transformers theme. For those not familiar, Stan Bush was one of the singers and writers for the animated Transformers: The Movie soundtrack back in 1986. He is of the famed "The Touch" that most Transfans could probably sing to you whether they would admit to it or not. I don't know if its official with the movie release or him just doing his own thing. Thanks to Chad T for the link and don't forget to check out the message boards.

Stan Bush on Transformers Soundtrack?

Seibertron.com has posted a message received from Stan Bush regarding the possibility of working on the Transformers movie soundtrack. For those that don't know, Stan Bush wrote several of the songs used in the animated Transformers: The Movie including "The Touch" (You have the touch/You have the power...). The note is:

Hi Ryan,

I wanted to let the legions of Transfans know that my Producer and I are in the studio mixing a new track for a certain upcoming live-action movie directed by Michael Bay ... I think you know the one!

It's a BIG song, with 70+ tracks at this point!

We hope to submit this track in the next couple weeks.

Also, you can give your readers the link to my new website/MySpace page: www.stanbush.com.

All The Best,
Stan Bush

This should be interesting development if his track is used. Despite a lot of online criticism, the producers have made a concerted effort to tip their hat to the original transformers in various ways and this might be one of them. Unconfirmed reports have been that much of the movie will be traditional orchestra based as all of Bay's films have been in the past but with the "voice" of Bumblebee being based off of various songs, it does open up the possibilities. The 70+ tracks bit confuses me though unless its just a bunch getting put together until the whittle down process. Maybe two soundtracks will get released, one with the orchestra and one for the various pop songs used.
